Isildur1, 1ll| 1ll| 1il| Finish the Year With a Bang

A true poker fanatic always has poker on his mind. While others may be busy planning New Year’s Eve celebrations, two of the nosebleed stakes regulars, Viktor Blom and a new online poker phenomenon known by the cumbersome moniker 1ll| 1ll| 1il|, were busy grinding away at the PokerStars tables. They both finished with handsome profits, ringing out the old year with a bang.
Blom’s December 29 charge was a very impressive one indeed. After a one-week hiatus, the Swede returned to the tables, logging 3,358 hands in a single session and generating a $429k profit. Blom played $50/$100 PLO, and most of his profits came from Ilari Sahamies, the biggest winner of the year thus far. The Finn dropped $458k to Blom, getting absolutely slaughtered heads-up. Sahamies had appeared well on-track to clinching the biggest winner of the year spot, but with only a couple of days left till the end of 2011, his position suddenly appears shaky.
Given his above detailed losses, Sahamies now has $2.157 million in his + column for the year, which is suddenly a reachable target for Rafi Amit, who has logged $2.105 million for the year.

Most of 1ll| 1ll| 1il|’s profits came from FakeLove 888 (rumored to be Patrik Antonius). Through the week, 1ll| 1ll| 1il| took about $467k from FakeLove 888, then proceeded to round that number up by winning a couple of smaller sessions. Overall, he finished the week with a $692k profit, which put him over the $1 million mark for the year. FakeLove 888 on the other hand – whoever he is - appears headed for the biggest losers of the year list. He’s dropped $638k last week alone.
Other winners last week were Jens Kyllonen (he took home about $48k) and Sami Kelopuro (in the black by about $72k).
Anti-durrr, Cinderella03 and Try_An_Hit finished among the losers, each of them having dropped around $50k.
